We are pleased to announce that our managing attorney, Tammy Weber, is the recipient of the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s Excellence in Elder Law award for 2022. The award was presented to her on July 21 at the Bar Association’s Elder Law Institute. The Pennsylvania Bar Association is a nonprofit organization that represents 27,000 Pennsylvania lawyers.
Ms. Weber is managing attorney of Marshall, Parker & Weber, LLC. Her busy law practice represents clients in central and northeastern Pennsylvania from offices in Williamsport, Jersey Shore, and Plains. Her firm provides elder law, estate planning, long-term care planning and estate administration services.
The stated purpose of the Excellence in Elder Law Award is to honor an individual who has made superior efforts in the field of elder law, made significant contributions to the elder law bar, and who has made noteworthy service to the elderly. The following criteria are used in making the award selection:
- Superior professional efforts in the field of elder law.
- Significant contributions to the elder law bar, including educational efforts to improve the ability of attorneys to represent clients in elder law matters.
- Noteworthy service to the elderly.
In addition to representing clients in her law practice, Ms. Weber has been committed to supporting her community and has served in leadership roles at both the state and local level.
