Tammy A. Weber, Managing Attorney of the Elder Law and Estate Planning Firm of Marshall, Parker & Weber, recently served as the course planner for “Long-Term Care Planning for Seniors,” a continuing legal education course from the Pennsylvania Bar Institute in Mechanicsburg. It was attended by more than one hundred elder law attorneys from across the state.
As course planner, Attorney Weber was responsible for developing the content for the day-long program that guided attorneys through the long-term care process, which included identifying potential challenges when a senior is placed in a nursing home, Medical Assistance Estate Recovery and addressing ethical dilemmas. She also organized a panel of the “state’s most experienced and well-respected attorneys” to serve as faculty for the course.
