Shelby L. Weber is an Estate Administration Paralegal and received an Associate of Arts Degree from Gannon University in the Lawyer’s Assistant Program. She began working as a Paralegal in Williamsport in 1985! Shelby has 21 years’ experience working in the estate administration field in Lycoming County. Although not consecutively, as she was blessed to be able to be a “stay at home mom” with her sons for 8 years before returning to work part-time in 2003.
One of Shelby’s favorite quotes comes from John F. Kennedy “To those whom much has been given, much is expected” She has been very active in the Williamsport community and believes in volunteering her time as a way of giving back to the community. Shelby has been an active member and former President of the Greater Williamsport Jaycees. She joined Junior League of Williamsport in 1998, serving in various leadership positions, culminating in the honor of serving as President from 2007-2009. Shelby is also active in her church community at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, serving as a Sunday School Teacher and as Secretary to the Board of Directors.
Shelby & her husband Gary celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary in June and are the proud parents of two sons, Riley and Stefan. Riley just started his freshman year at Pitt in Pre-pharmacy and Stefan is starting 9th grade at Williamsport High School.
Since 2006, Shelby has volunteered her time as a coach for Odyssey of the Mind, an international academic competition which provides creative problem solving opportunities for students. October thru March is what is referred to as “OM season” in the Weber household, sometime quite fondly and sometimes not!
In her spare time, Shelby is an avid reader. She loves to run (with a goal of completing a 10K this year) and she loves to cook and entertain. This fall, Shelby is looking forward to visiting Pittsburgh and also cheering on the Williamsport Millionaire Soccer Team.
